2 months post op and 70lbs down...90lbs to Goal!
Congrats on the 70 lbs and the baby girl. I have a 3 year old son and he is what keep me motivated everyday. He is so full of energy the older they get the crazier it tend to get you will be loving all the extra energy you are going to have. I am almost 2 month out and almost 50 lbs down and already have so much more energy. Kepp up the good work.

Congratulations on the 70 Lbs. and the new daughter! I agree kids (and grand kids in my case) are one of the greatest reasons to get healthy.

I couldn't have made it this this far without the people on this forum providing their insights and words of encouragement. By the way, I forgot to mention that I've already been taken off of 2 medications (1 for BP and the other for diabetes).

Down 70lbs in 2 months AND taken off BP and Diabetes Meds??!!! Incredible buddy! You would have been a great dad reguardless but just think how much more fun you will have with your little girl with all this extra energy. Believe me you are gonna need it!!

Thanks bro! Yeah, I can't believe how much energry I already have and I'm not even 1/2 half way to my goal yet. This is lovely! My main reason for losing the weight was/is two -fold...get healthy so I can get off the meds and my conditions improve and to be able to enjoy life with my daughter. You're right, she's going to wear me out! LOL!

Wow!! Oh, this post just made me smile. Congrats on your awesome weight loss... But an even bigger congrats on becoming a father! You are already giving your sweet baby daughter a huge gift - a healthy daddy! Nice work, dad. What an amazing year -- many congrats and cyber hugs!

Lost 140 lbs with VSG. (Hooray!!)
got pregnant (yeaaaa!)
got cancer (boooo!)
regained 40 lbs. (grrrr!)
In summary: Alive & Grateful.
