High iron sleeve friendly foods?

Another easy way....cook foods in a cast iron dutch oven...slow cooked acidic foods work best (tomato based)  Stir frequently....My sis does this cuz she has issues with anemia....seems to work....ya gotta cook stuff anyway!

Ok I may make an ass of myself here but you will forgive me...I am on my way for surgery so my brain is foggy...how does that solution work? Don't tell me the food absorbs the iron from the dutch oven????

yup...it does....not a lot...but every little bit helps.....you need to cook ....why not get a bit extra from your cookware?  My sisters doc recommended this

 Never heard of that- thanks for the tip.  We are campers here and have loads of cast iron.  Kinda gross to think about though.  Your comment about raising your hand had me in giggles!
