I am getting  super frustrated because the  scale isn't moving. I am preop and have lost 55 of the hundred I want/need to lose and the scale hasn't budged in a  week. I have completed the first two weeks of my liquid diet and only have a  week to go. four protien shakes a  day and  water that's it. Are stalls normal for  pre op too?

There is no difference between you (pre op) and I (post op) except the size of my tummy and lack of hunger hormones. Just stick with it and the scale will move. Your body just needs a chance to catch up. I did want to add that post op... It is much easier because of the restriction and lack of real hunger. Hang in there!!

Yup! I am working on the pre-op weight loss too and for 3 weeks my scale just hung out there, taunting me and not budging at all. Then one day, I got fed up and totally fell off the wagon. Lo and behold, within the next few days the scale moved again and I got back to work. Slowly but surely, down it moves.
