Thoroughly enjoyed reading your story. I know when I give anything to anyone, I find I get much more than I've given. What you did shows your heart.........what a beautiful heart it is. You may never know how much meeting that man will change his life.........certainly, meeting him changed yours.

Now, to the serious business of baseball......it's great that your team has made you a happy fan after some less enjoyable years...........HOWEVER, I really can't feel too sorry for you since I am a lifelong Cubs fan................you don't know disappointment and misery until you've endured 62 years of rooting for the Cubs! YES, I was 3 years old when Daddy turned me into a Cubs fan!

Keep being the good man that you are, Mario. I'm very proud of you.

You are obviously a wonderful person and as one of the others said - what goes around comes around. Congrats to you for being such an upstanding guy.
I have been bringing my clothes to a lady at work that needs them and what she cannot wear she is sharing with other members of her family. It is kind of strange though when I see she is wearing something to work that I have given her.
Great job on your weight loss also. You deserve the best!
