OT: New Rain Coat NSV!

I have worn the same rain jacket (men's size XL) since 2001 and always talked about how practical it is and how much I liked it, and that was all true. But I used to wear a lot of guy's outdoor stuff and liked it.  My body is apple-shaped when I'm fat, and straight up and down with no waist when I'm not.  I hate belts, because they emphasized the biggest part of my body (which I preferred to hide under a big loose top) and/or didn't cinch in to show a female shape.

Well, I desperately needed a new rain coat and I found one on Zappo's and ordered it.  It's adorable! It's even got a belt, and when I cinched it--okay, no waist/cute female shape but it also doesn't make me look fat.  I can wear the belt!  And when I lose a little more weight and the coat gets a tad looser, it WILL cinch and make it appear that I have a shape. Win!

I haven't loved anything clothes-wise in a long time the way I love this rain coat!  Best of all, it has a hood. I hate carrying umbrellas, love hoods!  (Oh and I am losing weight again, because, duh, I'm actually limiting my calories again. Funny how that works.)

That is a cute rain coat and a great NSV!!!  I have never owned a rain coat either because I felt to big & frumpy in them.  I tried one on at Nordstrom a month ago that I looooved but it was too expensive but it was still nice to try it on and love the way it looked for once. 
I have since settled for a cute little black rain jacket from The Gap for just the right price.
