Of course we can see a difference. You're doing great.
As for your Mom, you know how sorry we all are that you're dealing with her loss -- here and on MFP. Daddy passed on almost 16 years ago and I still miss him......he was the parent who loved me, supported me, and encouragd me............unlike my other parent. What I can tell you is that after some time passes, you will still miss your Mom, but the pain gets better. I know that focusing on the things that Daddy did that were comical or thoughtful or any of those other parental wonders he brought to me sure helped a lot and today, I can usually talk about him without crying.
