Sharp Pain in my side

 Since Monday when standing I will get a sharp pain on my left abdomen slightly higher than my belly button line.  I called the docs office yesterday and they went over it with me, asked questions. They said come in if it gets worse or I get a fever, etc.  I feel great but just get this sharp pain that feels as though it's in my muscle or just under my skin.  It feels like a knife stabbing I suppose, very brief but always in the same spot.

I asked them if it could be a stitch but they said that should be resolved by now. (I am 8 weeks out). Just wondered if anyone has experienced this.

When i left the hospital the nurse said it was possible over the first 2 monthes to get weird pains on the left side. Just keep an eye out for the fever and keep your dr posted. feel better!!!!

I had the same pain.  But felt it more around the 6 week mark.  It did go away.  I thought it was muscular from where they cut through that wall of stomach. 

 Thanks, ladies.  Thanks, Tracey. I was thinking that might be what it was too.  I just started kicking up the excercise last week too so was thinking that might be it.
