update - nothing wrong
so after 3 days of feeling not quite right with some vomiting in there, and being nauseated; the surgeon sent me for a barium swallow, and X-rays; well I just left her office and nothing was found, no leaks or blockages. So, she gave me a script for zophran(sp?) for the nauseous feeling, but told me it's normal, healing, scarring, restriction.. keep trying to get my fluids in, stick with mushy mushy foods, yogurt, soup, oatmeal, etc..
Glad it wasn't something serious, and I actually felt silly for a second, thinking I was being a whiner, but I know I'm really not.. and since this is a new stomach, I'm getting used to all that it involves.
Glad nothing is wrong! I went to the hospital last week after 1 week of horrible nausea! I got 5 bags of IV's including potassium and magnesium. After I was released I had another day of nausea and then I have been good ever since. I'm glad I went in because I wanted to get better! I gained 8 pounds of fluids though, lol. I'm better at getting liquids in now but find it hard with the 5 meals a day. I am still weak but I have been since surgery on 10-2-12. I wish You and I had an easier go at this but it seems others are just luckier! We'll get there!
