Not on my weigh in day!

I have been struggling because I've been "supposedly" on the pre op diet for over a month a while I've been walking and have reduced my calories and what I eat I've become so constipated that the scale is up by nearly 4 lbs from 3 days ago. AND I go today for my weigh in :(

This is so maddening, and seems like something many of us have to deal with. Yesterday I reached "normal" BMI/weight (yay!) and today am up over again, and it's because I'm constipated.

Weight is going to fluctuate and that's one reason why. I hope your medical advisor has some good advice for you and this isn't going to cause a problem.

Most of us will have this problem from time to time and you will see your weight fluctuate due to many different reasons. I take Miralax every morning now in my Crystal light and then follow with water all day long. It took 4 days to kick in but now I am having no constipation problems. Target and Walmart have their own generic equivalents also. Miralax costs about $17 for 30 doses where I live.

Miralax Kool-Aid works for me! If you are concerned about your weigh in, take your food tracking charts so they can analyze what you've been eating and offer some suggestions -- about your foods and about constipation!
