Watched Rob's Speech...

It was very motivational and informative.  I love the concept.  My surgeon's group relies on the Hospital's support group which is too big to be personally effective.  It is more like  an informational seminar every month, where they bring in  a speaker to talk about some issue that is relevant.  There isn't really any give or take.  Does anyone have any suggestions for someone sort of floating on her own in Houston?  I would love to find an active group of exchange and mutual support....

That is the one thing that I have been disappointed about is that there is are no strong support groups where I am.  The doctor's office has one, once a month but there are not very many people in it.  I have gotten more off these boards then I have from the group.
