Couple of NSVs today

NSV #1 came to me after getting out of the shower. I grabbed my towel to dry off, and about tripped over myself. I realized that I could wrap my towel completely around myself. I haven't been able to do that in over 2 years! I know it's kind of a silly one, but that was a big deal to me.

NSV #2 came shortly after #1. A little back story...I have this pair of jeans that I used to LOVE because they were so comfortable. Months and months went by that I was trying to squeeze into these things. I ended up looking like a sausage that would burst if handled the wrong way. I didn't have a muffin top, I had a busted can of biscuits! At this point, I quit wearing jeans and went to stretch pants. Well, sure as the day is long, they fit today! I didn't have to do that wonderful hopping, laying on the bed, or holding my breath and praying that I wouldn't take out one of my girls' eyes if that button popped off.

 I can't believe this is actually happening!!

Oh, I can relate! I got very excited when the bath towel closed all the way around me. I used to have to use a bath sheet. Yes, it's silly but it makes me feel more normal-sized somehow. LOL I ran out and showed my partner. He just smiled. He knows that no matter how small or silly the NSV it helps me keep from getting too impatient along the way.

Still LOLing at "Busted can of biscuits"!!!  Way to rock a towel!  And kick yer biscuits out the door. 

I loved when I could wrap a small towel around me! I still probably stare in the mirror a bit longer now in my towel and look at my clavicle. Amazing where that thing went!

Congrats on the jeans also. You will quickly have to discard them because they are too big. Trust me. It happens so quickly!

I look in the mirror also, but not to look at my clavicle . Unless that is what you girls call them now.
