What suggestions do you have for a fish and all seafood hater like me?

Well first, stay away from seafood restaurants, but even then you could order the surf and turf and give the surf to someone else. Any kind of grilled beef or chicken with the vegetable of the day or a small side salad fit nicely.

Great post. Going with your ethnic cuisine theme, I'd add Greek to your list. I can usually find a seafood skewer (prawns, scallops and/or fish) or grilled calamari or octopus. They also typically have seafood salads with prawns or calamari.

Greek is a good choice. Over the weekend I had a Gyro and just ate the middle out of the pita. Worked out well. Very tasty too. Hummus is good, lots of good fats in Greek Food. Kabobs are good choices too. Lamb. Nice addition, thanks.

I agree with most of your points, but I learned a huge lesson a few days ago. I had been invited out to Outback Steakhouse and got online to see what I could have.  I immediately went right to the seafood and then to salmon...however there were two supposedly grilled salmon dishes...one sounded better than the other and it was loaded with carbs and fat and calories...the other they called simple grilled salmon...so really check your options...even all fish is not created equal...lol Did I go?  No, I decided I wasn't ready....lol!
