HUGE NSV!

I went out dancing with a friend last night. Usually, I'm the one sitting at the bar or at a table watching everyone else dance. I learned how to do the "cotton eye joe". (YAY!) Plus, I actually got onto the dance floor and shook my ass like no one was watching. (Court date pending hahaha) For once, my knees, feet, and thighs didn't hurt. I also wasn't out of breath like I was back in the day. I could SOOOOOOOO get used to this!

YAY!  My husband and I started ballroom dancing when I had lost weight before, and frankly, once I started creeping up, I kept have injuries, pain, etc.  Now that I'm down some, we are starting back with our classes with the next session (March), and we've already gone back to some shorter refresher classes.

I still can't do the cotton-eyed Joe -- or line dances -- it will take more than one night for me to pick that up! It's sooo much fun!

Congrats on your success and dropping the pounds and getting back out on the floor.  Let me know when to show up for the court date -- I'll be a character witness!  LOL!

hahaha awesome! I'm usually good at line dancing, I would just get so tired halfway through it, I'd have to stop. I want to take some salsa lessons with the hubby. He's not a dancer, so it should be interesting.
