What Have You Gained?
Freedom, inwardly and outwardly.
Everything is just easier.
A new perspective regarding thin people. I think I had some issues toward those who never had a weight problem, as I get thinner, I realize, we all still have body issues, no matter what size we are.
A love for life.
A smile. Literally and internally. I am genuinely happier now. Plus, my cheeks are not as thick and my smile actually makes me look like I am smiling and happy.
Energy.
A desire to move and exercise my body for the fun of it and the health of it.

“Not many of us are living at our best. We linger in the lowlands because we are afraid to climb the mountains. The steepness and ruggedness dismay us, and so we stay in the misty valleys and do not learn the mystery of the hills. We do not know what we lose in our self indulgence. What glory awaits us if only we had the courage for the mountain climb. What blessing we should find if only we would move to the uplands of God.? JRM
