Yet another reason I just don't bother with synthetic sugar very often. Or, hell, synthetic food either. I swear, they aren't even producing food products anymore. Labels are truly scary.

Keep this theory in mind with other "no calorie" foods, too. Like "I can't believe it's not butter spray." Calculate a whole bottle of that stuff and you get way more than "no calories."

The "I can't believe its not butter" people got busted I think. I noticed around the middle of last year that the zero calorie version disappeared completely from store shelves in my area. Now they just have "light". But you are correct. Never assume any zero calorie food is really zero calorie.
