I forgot my doc said its bad for your hair to wear hats or wigs because your scalp needs to breathe to be as healthy as possible. Of course if your hair looks really bad - covering it up might be well worth it.
If I can stand it, however, I am not going to cover it up. Each must decide for themselves.

Absolutely hats are good for SOME things (such as protection from skin cancer). I was talking only about how they can have negative impact on your hair. When my son was young he went through a phase when he had a baseball cap on his head every single day. His hair got really funky and his pediatrician said - stop wearing that hat or you will go bald.
Hats now and then are fine, I am sure - and really cute!

I keep joking about the fact that now would not be a good time to murder anyone as Im leaving my hair DNA everywhere!!!...lol
Mine started at 3 months and I would say I've lost 40% of my volume. I had quite thin hair to start with, so these days, I just wear it up a lot as I can tease a bit of volume into it and hide the very thin bits around my crown.
Im almost 6 months now and it has definitely slowed down a lot in the last couple of weeks. Im only losing about 1/3 of what I was losing a month or so ago.
i just keep thinking about the big picture. People calling me skinny definitely makes up for it these days :)
