No more bumps in the road (I hope).

I had my endo done yesterday and what a difference already! My surgeon found mild narrowing at the opening to my sleeve and stretched it a bit. Today I have eaten solid food twice, 2 oz. of solid protein each time, and it has gone very well. I didn't feel stuck at all. This seems great! A few days ago I could never have eaten like that. At least part of the meal would have had to come back up. I am thrilled and looking forward to getting much more protein in the form of food not shakes.

Thanks for all the support.

Yay!  Glad things are going better.  It's good to know that there are non surgical ways to make corrections in cases such as this.

So glad to hear this worked for you!  You have had a ruff road in your journey from band to sleeve.  Hopefully this is the end of your troubles.

That is wonderful news! I bet you feel a lot better! I am glad your surgeon told you it was not normal and got you in for an endoscopy! Now your sleeve should be functioning the way it is intended and at 6 months out you should definitely be able to eat 2 ounces of solid protein, and it sounds like you finally can! Maybe everything will be smooth sailing for you now.
