If you have Trader Joe's--Egg White Salad!

I just discovered this today.  Mixed the container with 2.6 oz of tuna and have dinner and lunch for tomorrow.  I got the spicy ranchero, which only has 1 g carbs.  The nutritional info below is for the egg salad with chives.  I am going to go buy more when I get a chance, because this is super easy, delicious, and required practically no work on my part--and by adding the tuna I got a good dose of protein!

I had it early on and it was great. It was also on the list of recommended protein sources available at Trader's Joe's that my program had on a handout. It went down very easily and gave me 2-3 meals at the time.

Trader Joe's has finally opened in the Dallas area. What else is on that list?

I'll have to look for the list, when I get home. It seems so long ago in some ways. Look in the frozen meat section and regular meat sections for high protein foods. Of course, they have Greek yogurt, canned tuna, salmon, crab, etc. and egg whites. I used to like and still use low fat string and baby bel light cheeses. Early on, the baby bell light cheese was just the right size.

I think trader Joe's has almost everything .

I also posted this on MFP and my NUT said she's giving out a TJ's list at our next support group meeting (March 20) and this product is on it.  I'll post the list after we get it. :)

Awesome find!  You need to go brag about this find now to your NUT ;-)  Great Job!

Oh my gosh, thank you for posting! This looks great - I bet it will be good mixed with chicken breast too! My mom is a dialysis patient and I'm always on the lookout for higher protein snacks/light meals for after her treatments, so this is perfect for her as well.
