Cookbook
Thanks for the info....I've been waiting for a sleeve only cookbook to come out......the ones out there just saying WLS, well, i check out a recipe or so, and they don't seem compliant to what i'm looking for.....also, if i see a long list of ingredients, i get turned off. The less ingredients, the better...for me at least. i guess i should copy the ones that people here on OH created or found...and create my own collection.
There's a nice low carb cookbook or two by Dana Carpenter -- she's been writing low carb for a long time. Basically, any cookbook with meat recipes will do the trick most of the time. I bought hers when I was on Atkins, but I do just as well with traditional cookbooks.
I did look at a couple of "after WLS cookbooks" and agree that they are a total waste. If you are cooking for your family, just find cookbooks with recipes your family likes, and modify as needed.
If you have recipes you like, but can't figure out how to make it low carb or sleeve friendly, just post the recipe and ask. There are lots of people here who cook and would provide suggestions!
