Question for ADHD folks taking Adderol

So I am ADHD, but never treated it.  Today, I took my first dose of Adderol.  All was well, but it occurred to me that the physician probably didn't know squat about VSG patients.  Anyone know if there is a problem with taking this?  I am on a low dose (20 mg) at the moment, but the doc said it would be likely that it would go up in a month if all goes well.

On a side note, I totally get now why I keep wrecking my car.  What a difference.

Just started 7 days ago. The first 5 days was WEIRD! I don't know what all was up but it took a few days to adjust. Now I feel great and am already getting so much more done.

I think of a few things and I actually get them done lol. Not bounce all around. So excited haha!

I hear you.  I have been putting in 18 hour days again including weekends in the classroom, and I can't keep that up.  Time to address the underlying issue.

Thank you to all of the posters- I feel better now knowing it is not going to do something awful to me because of the sleeve.  Whew!

Couple things........It is basically prescription  speed....so trouble sleeping ....appetite suppression are common side effects.  As long as you are getting adequate sleep and nutrition.....should be fine.

Uh, yea- trouble sleeping for sure.  I normally have minimal problems sleeping, and I was just wired last night.  Calories dropped down to 900 on my yesterday too, and only a little better today at 1000.  I think I am going to have to set a limit of losing no more than 20 pounds to give myself time to adjust- if I do.  Maybe it will just take a couple days like the above poster :)

Thanks Jimbo.
