tired and busy, NSV, and pics
It still hurts a bit to eat. Kind of a soreness instead of the sharp pains. I still have to be careful because I'm getting the foamies pretty often.
On a brighter note, I had a majority of my hair chopped off. I thought my hair was uber thin, but my stylist told me that the back is still thick. She said that she could tell the front was thinning, but regrowth is definitely there. She was able to cut my hair with a swooping comb over type bangs to hide the thinning. I think I like this new place. lol
Yesterday was my 4 months post op. I posted pictures, and my "oh so supportive" mom got to see them. For ONCE, she told me how proud she was. She called me to tell me that I was looking good. THAT felt AWESOME! I am still at 172 (68 lb loss!), but I am A OK with that. I also went on my first hike in the hills on post. A 2 hour hike! I am SORE today. lol
Here's my 4 month comp
And this is the haircut from today
68 in 4!! You rock!!!![]()
Funny, no matter what we do in life, no matter our age, we do still really need our parents blessing and praise. I'm the same way!
Your new "do" looks great!!! I'm not brave enough to go short yet...Good for you!!!!!![]()
I have to catch up on your posts, but last I read you were getting the run around at the surgeons. Have you seen anyone yet, or do you really feel like this is resolving??
Peace!

Thank you! I still haven't been able to see anyone. They told me no sooner than Monday. I'm just going back to my earlier ways of taking it super slow when eating. Also, I'm making sure that any solids that I have, like chicken, are really moist. I made a homemade chicken noodle soup for the family, and just had some of the chicken out of it. It was AWESOME and it sat well. It could very well be that I have been in too big of a hurry. I'm just taking it easy and I will talk to them on Monday.
