Butter?

ONLY butter. The other stuff is filled with odd-sounding ingredients. Remember, the fewer the ingredients the better for you!

Thank you all.  I am very surprised at the answer.  Yesterday I found myself at the grocery store about to buy the non butter stuff and something stopped me ... I had heard about what everyone here has been saying.

Somehow I was thinking that the Smart Balance product (the one with olive oil in it) would be a great thing to do but as I said I really wondered about the wisdom in that.

The real purpose for the question is that I have been buying the Trader Joe's Roasted Mashed Sweet Potatoes (only ingredient is sweet potatoes) ... these are frozen.  It is great for us as they are formed into small "pucks" where 5 pucks is about 3.5 oz.  This is really cool as I also buy their frozen turkey meatballs.  I can take 2 meatballs and about 3 pucks and make a dinner.  Sometimes the sweet potatoes seem a little bit dry so I want to moisten them with a little butter.  I also add some cinnamon.  If I want some sweetener (usually not though) I put a little Stevia in the mix.  Since I am not a good cook this dinner is really easy for me as well as very quick to make.

Isn’t it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do their “practice”?  -  George Carlin
