Congrats and well done! I was about where you are at the start of April. I ran my first 5k on 4/7. I ran my "can I do it" run three days prior to my official run and did it in 36 minutes. I don't know if it was the fact that running in a huge crowd was like a party or if being on a new to me route pumped me up, but I managed a 30 minute:50 second time in mine. Based on how you've been training, I'd bet you see similar results. Keep up the awesome work and be proud! That's a great accomplishment.

My first official 5K on May 5th is the Color Run in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I understand it is a lot of goofing around and people throwing paint on you and stuff so I am not expecting anything interesting in terms of time. I just am happy to know that I have finished it. I will look at the schedule to see when my first real 5k will be.
