Has anyone done, or heard of, these body wraps they have now? I know someone who does them and she's posted pictures of successful losses in fat. But I dont know if its worth my money and time or if it can even be done with a WLS pt.

I've heard of them but I don't know anyone who does them or how much they cost. I'd try it. It'd be fun for an all girls spa day or something. Unless they're way overpriced. I'll have to look into it.

I use to sell them, they're from It Works. They worked on me short term. I mean I could easily lose 3 or 4 inches doing them, but it doesn't last. You're suppose to do 4 weeks in a row and then once a month after. I have to admit I didn't keep up with them monthly. They are $20 or $25 each

I think most wraps are very short lived and just a loss of fluid in the tissue and not a true weight loss. They'd be  OK for fun but I wouldn't use them to seriously lose weight.

I have a friend who sells them, and I have to admit, I'm pretty skeptical.  Obivously, they are doing something, but the company is so vague about how they work, why they work, what's in them and they flat out don't address weather it's long term or not.  I agree, I think it is a water weight type of thing.

I did a one at a spa - not really for inch loss but hoping it would help my skin firm up, especially on my inner thighs and upper arms.  Gonna do one again when I hit the century mark!  But of course at a spa - they can get pretty costly.

Thanks everyone. I know 2 people who now are wrap consultants and they keep asking me, and everyone else, to do it. One girl charges $30 I think for the stomach. I am unsure of if I want to do it or use up $30 each time to do it, when I am still debating on spending money on a gym LOL.
