NSV -- About that saggy skin...
My face was fat and I had probably a triple chin. I don't have a strong jawline, which makes the issue worse. Some people manage to keep incredible facial structure no matter how large they get. Not me!
One thing I was prepared for was to have saggy jowls and a neck waddle.
Guess what. Even though I'm almost 60 years old, had saggy chins and all sorts of fat stretching out my face, after losing 85 pounds my neck is pretty tight and I have just a bit of saggy jowl, not much at all, far less than my friend who is the same age and not overweight. Her saggy jowl is genetics. Mine is... disappearing. !!! Yes, it's so far along now that I have every reason to believe that once my body adjusts to its new weight, I won't have any jowls at all.
My abdomen is not tight, but the skin flap is disappearing. When I lie down, I don't have one at all. So as I lose more weight (and again, the body adjusts) I will be interested to see how that all pans out.
I never intended to get plastics. The one thing I never considered is that I wouldn't need them.
So when people tell you it's a matter of genetics and age, they're right, and you can't predict. Seriously. I had no way of knowing because all the older women in my family had been overweight with lots of saggy parts! I had no idea that underneath it all we might actually have some decent genetics, because it sure isn't age that's on my side. Ha!
I took this pic this morning to show my necklace to a friend. Wasn't thrilled with it. Can't believe I'm sharing it here, but, here it goes! (Necklace bought when Titanic was influencing fashion. Now it's Downton Abbey. Win!)

You look fantastic! Lucky you! My face was SO big, my weight along with cycle after cycle of steroids for my asthma really made me have a pumpkin head and moon face. I was just SURE that I would have a waddle and hanging skin. After losing almost 80 lbs it is not TIGHT but it is not hanging! I am halfway to goal and really hope that it doesn't get any looser! Yours looks great!
