How do Goodwill Stores work?

A new one moved onto the main drag of my area of town, and it's very close to where I live. I'll be dropping stuff off there later this week.

Do their donations go straight onto the racks of that store, or do they go to a central distributor to be disbursed? 

I'm wondering if for my own shopping I should avoid this one and go to one in another part of the city.  If I find a unique, cute sweater (for example), is it likely that while shopping the person who donated will see me and recognize it? LOL!

they put it in the same store unless there over stocked then send it to an other store

I shop at a few stores to find the cloths I need , I also found a bunch of camel bac bottles that I love there 2/$1.00

Be careful when shopping at any thrift store.  Bed Bugs are a major problem everywhere, you can get them from WalMart even, look up ways to kill bed bugs before they come into your home. BTW. You cannot really see a bed bug but once you get them it is a real pain in the ass and really expensive to get rid of.
