Powered shakes

How do you make a powered shake without getting all that froth at the top?  I have used a blender and I have used a magic bullet, magic wand, and still about a inch of froth on top.  Any suggestions. And if I don't mix it for a while I have clumps of power in it.

What liquid are you using??? Milk is very frothy. I use almond milk and sometimes even do 1/2 water and 1/2 milk. I do not like foam either!!

I just made a shake the other day in my Ninja...I used 4 oz. of almond milk and several ice cubes...no froth...and it was nice and frozen and helped it go down :)

I love my blender bottles. Got 2 at GNC and another one at Walmart.
