How long was your longest stall?

It's been almost 6 weeks since my surgery.  I lost 10lbs the 1st week and another 10 the next two weeks.  Since then I've not lost much at all (about 3 lbs.).  I'm following my plan to the letter.  I have not waivered.  I am in a big stall.

Now, please don't take offense.  I'm not looking for advise on how to break a stall nor am I needing encouragement..  I've researched and read more that I care to about stalls.  My only question is, if you had a considerable stall early out, how long did it last?

It's going on 3 weeks for me now and I'd like to know how "normal" I am.

Thanks,

Here you go, the inevitable 3-week stall: http://vsgfaq.wordpress.com

VSG 10/26/12 • HEIGHT 5'4"
GW = 140 lbs met Month 9
CW = 133
lbs
Loss per Month: 8 >  9 > 7 > SURGERY  > 15 > 10 > 10 > 10 > 7 > 5 > 6
  > 6 > 5 > 5 > 0

It works if you work it; it sorta works if you sorta work it; and it doesn't work if you don't work it.

Normal is really different for everybody.  Direct comparisons don't usually work well.  Stalls in particular are subject to your specific activity profile, biochemistry, diet, etc.

That said, my profile was little different than most.  I had lots of little stalls, but not really big multi-week long ones.  Those are not uncommon, but I was a short tread stair step loser.  I would lose like gang busters for a few days, then have a few days of flat lining.  Repeat until maintenance.

Any time I would change something, I would stall for a bit.  When I came off my BP meds, I stalled.  When I started running, I stalled.  Started weight training, I stalled.

What is your plan?

My stall, at the same point you are, was three weeks long. I just stayed on plan and loss picked up again.

Two weeks for absolutely no loss is the longest.  I stall every time I lose more than a pound now.  I didn't start stairstepping until I was about 5ish months out.
