starvation, conservation, famine mode a rose by any other name...IS A *****!! there is NO reason whatsoever to keep prolonging this stall as far out as you are.
VLCDs do NOT work for very long....without the exact same outcome YOU are experiencing.. What did einstein say..insanity..doing the the same thing and expectin a different result.....sumthin like that....SHAKE IT UP GURLIE!! Get into calorie shifting. 2days maybe even a week MAX. Up your food intake...protein, healthy fats, and lots of whole complex carbs. 5-maybe six mini meals spread througout the day. STOP eating say 7. NO SOLIDS WHATSOEVER...only water/sf liquids. get in a protein coffee/tea ,fruit smoothie n protein supp..for breakfast...huge egg scramble whatever to start off yer day after 9 or whatever. When your weight drops...go back to VLCD DIETING
trick yer brain outta this stall. I think I mentioned this to you some time ago....but best follow the "proven vets" suggestions tho....cuz I dont know what Im talkin about...lmao!
Hang in there, KEEP UP THE GOOD FIGHT...your weight loss days are far from over.
Just passing on what my family doc told me. Up your water (shoot for 14 glasses a day). Lower your total calories (700-800/day). 100 grams of protein (that means protein shakes for me). Get 1 hour of aerobic exercise like running (HA! **** that) 6 days a week--I asked about biking, walking, and swimming and he said they all count. The key is keeping your heart rate above normal for at least an hour. Has to be aerobic, NOT weights. You can still do weights, but they have to be above and beyond the aerobic exercise.
After you start, give it 3 weeks because you WILL have fluid retention.
Nothing new to offer on the stallbreaking front - -but wanted to offer my overall support and good wishes!
On the emotional side -- don't let the stall win! I let my stall win (when I did Atkins), and that begin the upward creep. So, try the ideas and see what works for you, but don't let this get you discouraged. Sometimes when we get really close to goal, our bodies need some time to regroup. Hang in there!
