A pretty special NSV - buying new clothes

Thanks for your support. I lost 55 pounds before surgery, and the other 30 since. I started the WLS process in January, made a commitment to the pre-surgery diet, and I've lost 15 to 20 pounds per month pretty consistently. I'm really glad I lost the weight pre-surgery. It made it easier to deal with the limitations of the post-surgery stomach (eating only 2 oz per meal for weeks!) because I could see the results happening.
Best of luck with your upcoming surgery. You'll do great, and we'll be sharing success stories from the loser's bench in no time!

Oh Carol, that is so cool ! I have so many different sizes of clothes in my very large closet. I have started going through everything and getting rid of all of the pieces that I don't love. So much of what I have was bought because it fit, not because I liked it. As I lose, I don't want that stuff around. I will keep my biggest outfit to have a reminder of how far I've come.
