Confession: I SUCKED getting my liquids in yesterday! Up .2 lbs this am!

So in my first month blog yesterday morning, I put one of my first month lessons learned that I lose better when I get my fluids in. Of course, yesterday I didn't get anywhere near what I was supposed to. I was thrown off first thing and then never recovered. The bod rewarded me with a .2 gain this morning, which I am neither surprised nor worried about. I am posting this to say, see? Liquids are magical. And to note i wasn't wearing my water rings yesterday, but will be today! And finally, to say I'm going to get my first 16 oz in before I even start my day.

Thanks! I have found it easy to get in 16oz while catching up on back episodes of Revenge (my post-op guilty pleasure).

It'll get better! Experiment with temperatures and flavors. Early on, I found warm tea to be soothing. Now, I enjoy a 1/2 packet of propel zero or a partial packet of realLime granules in 16 oz of water just to change the flavor. And, i can manage room temp liquids better than cold now. I still cannot drink at the pace I once did, but it is better.

My clear liquids included skim milk on my doc's clear liquid diet. Check with your doc for details, though.
