Warning....whining ahead
Chill out! You are doing great! It is kinda mind bobbling when you (sometimes) don't lose major weight on 600 cals during those first weeks! I know I didn't - and stalled at 3 weeks out .
This is not a race - this is a long term process that is absolutely amazing when you stick to the protein first mentality! The weight will come off - just not overnight - lots of weeks with 2 lbs lost then none - then 4 lbs - etc. It's a rollercoaster but I'm so glad I'm on this ride!! I know never in my life could I have lost 54 lbs in 5 months even going through stressful times!
Start reading this board and accepting that this is not a fast process - you didn't gain the weight overnight and will not lose it overnight. Also - do not compare yourself to others on the board - everybody loses at different rates.
Now go to the front page of Obesity Helps and read Sleevegirl's blog - two years of weight loss and 223 pounds gone - now that is inspiration and proof that this surgery works and this is not a fast process!! I'm overwhelmed and overjoyed!

As you get lighter, the rate of loss also declines. The graph will flatten out - Law of Diminishing Returns. I am currently only losing about 2 lbs per week and I am tickled with it.
LOL, you are right. I can't return it, so I better love it! Actually, I feel great. I would just like to be able to have a salad, or even a slice of cucumber with hummus....I know that day will come.
I dunno, I no it isn't magical, but I thought I would lose noticeably more than I did without the sleeve. I will suck it up now and be happy that I am on to soft foods today. Yay!!
