This is my personal challenge. I'll have VSG 9-17-13 and cannot begin this until 6 weeks post op, but I am determined to make it happen. I am a newbie but I love reading your post!! Congrats on your success, you are an inspiration.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Stop the clock! You have 16 days before you get cut up, you are APPROVED for full exercise until then. Whatcha waiting for? Any muscle gains you have today will be that much less you lose hen you are post op. plus you will need to have something to keep your mind off of food during the pre-op diet.

That's what I like to hear. I wish I had talked to you 6 months ago, but do what you can before surgery, you will thank me later.

Thanks Keith. I love to be active and I actually do cross fit and hike in the Colorado Rockies (where I live). I have always been active to include lifting weights since I was in high school (many years ago LOL) so I'm hoping this will help me. Even at my current weight I'm pretty active and I love challenges and pushing myself to see what I can achieve.  I love reading your post. That's great! I used to live in Utah and I do miss the mountains. That's great that you are active that will make your journey that much more successful. I can't wait to get regular updates on you. Feel free to ask questions as you go.
