I don't always measure my calories since the first month. But I measured today and I was less than 400 calories today. I've been eating like I always do multiple times a day but am I starving myself? Oh and by the way I hit 179 today YAY!!! I haven't weighed this much since before my 4 year old son was born!!! So happy. I am not starving myself, I ate mini wheats for breakfast, split pea soup for lunch salmon for dinner and pears and milk. Very small amounts of each. I don't want to starve myself but I am VERY HAPPY with how small my tummy is. The weight is coming off slow but one to two pounds a week is fine with me yay!!!

Congrats on your weight loss.  You talk about being a slow loser - Have you considered some of your food choices?  Just in what you mention I see a lot of carbs and not much protein.  YOu may find yourself losing more and feeling even better if you focus those meals that you do eat on more lean protein sources.

Also, try logging everything that goes in your mouth for a week or two and see what your numbers really are over time.

Actually the split pea and salmon has a lot of protein and mini wheats has a lot of fiber protein and iron. I think these r pretty good, and soup is a typical lunch and the salmon or chicken is a typical dinner I can do maybe a bite of vegetables but the rice I would make for the rest of my family doesn't go down well so I've nixed most carbs.

Actually, it looks like you are eating way too many carbs. You won't starve  yourself until all your fat reserves are used up so you don't need to worry about that right now. Mini wheats and pea soup are all carbs and pears and milk have a lot of carbs as well. None of those were ever in my diet plan from my surgeon. I still don't eat them and I have been at goal for 3 years. If you concentrate on 80 to 100 grams of protein, less than 40 grams of carbs and fats you will lose more quickly and feel satisfied longer with the food you eat.
