Major NSV!!

So on Oct. 15, 2012, I was wheeled into a OR at Abington Hospital in PA. There a skilled surgeon removed 85% of my stomach. On October 6, 2013, finished walking 60 miles in 3days for the Susan G Komen 3-Day for the Cure! Don't mind the weird face, I was completely sore (was popping Tylenol like it was candy - remember no NSAIDS for WLS patients )and had 6 blisters when this picture was taken on the third day, by this point I had about 1/2 day left to go. I thought about giving up a lot throughout the 3 days but I stuck with it and finished the entire thing. I know I could not have done it before losing all that weight. I know I'm not at my "goal weight" yet, but accomplishments like this mean a lot more than a number on a scale. Thank you for all the encouragement and support this past year!
