23 months out with pics!
Hello everyone! It has been a while since I posted, and I will be 2 years out next month, so why not add some before and after pics?!?! lets see, I maintain around 135 which is 99 lbs lost! I was down to 127 (my lowest) but when realtiy set in and I started to actually maintain, I stay around 135. I am loving my VSG! One of the best decisions I have ever made!! I can tell everyone, it can be a mind game...some days, you see yourself as a good looking little thing and others u see yourself being a fat again! Also, u CAN gain your weight back! I know a number of people who have this same surgery...some who lost a ton of weight and put back on, and some who are 3-4 years out who never lost all their weight...it is up to u! It is not free for some, I know people are different, my body will gain with a lot of carbs, so I myself have to watch what I eat, while some others can eat whatever and not gain...just depends. But, some think u CAN NOT gain back and this is false! This is a forever deal---work is involved and once your honeymoon phase is over, reality will set in and u will have to work just to maintain! I have added some before and after pics below...feel free to ask me anything! I am an open book! My stats are also below as well :)
