I would say A-F, because you never know who is reading your post who could use all the advice, and Frisco you should take your own advice  no offense and put out the correct information bc what you post of bougie sizes having the best chance  with favorable long term results for smaller sizes..... Just sayin.

So basically you have made comments or post stating that if a Bougie is done smaller there will be greater success, and so on. That's your opinion. I've talked to people who have had the smaller sizes and did not have the succes or complications and there are others who have great which is awesome. Severallllllll co workers at my previous job had the surgery and had a 38-40f. Some have lost 100, 150 , 130 140, even 200pounds, and all have been maintaining well. The certified surgeons who I spoke to said it's about what you put in your mouth what will determine your success, and if you stiick to the program .

I totally believe everything you wrote here...... and would say you are 100% accurate.

Excellent results can be had with any size sleeve. Excellent results can be had with no WLS also.

If we talk about "percentages" and "chances", yes the smaller sleeves have greater WL and better maintenance numbers.

My surgeon has been doing the VSG as a standalone WLS for over 12 years now with more than several thousand VSG procedures done. He started out using the larger sizes and over time as his procedure evolved, the size got smaller. The result has been better WL and less regain.

If you stay on this board long enough or search through years of back posts...... it's all here also. Eventual capacity can range from 3oz. to over 12oz. that's a pretty wide range. Who's chances of maintaining is better...... the 3oz. capacity or the 12oz. capacity ????? Than consider 100cals a day over your balance point can be a 10lbs. gain in a year.

Can people do well with larger sleeves......YES

Can people with smaller sleeves not do well.... Yes

Is it harder with larger capacity....... Yes

It's not only what you put in your mouth, it's also how much you put in your mouth........No?

It's not up to me to convince you or anybody........ But for you to say my points are not correct is not right.

A bigger bag, holds more stuff.

Personally i like D) recipes the most.  A) would be the most beneficial for the board in general, esp the newer people. but i get a lot out of A) also if it's something that i need a refresher on.  :)
