No turkey for me this year - i can barely eat 2 oz of the stuff. Chicken too. Gotta go beef or pork mostly these days in order to get my protein - on the other hand if I'm eating too much, poultry is my "cork!"

I'm the same way...... chicken and turkey white meat is my cork also.......
A couple things that "help"....... get it shredded and good and wet.......unfortunatly, mayo is the best lube.
In that posted Turkey Taco recipe I use a Greek yogurt and taco sauce mixed 50-50 with a touch of sweetener..... pretty good and very clean...
I have other mixes also..... soy sauce or Ponzu mixed with Greek Yogurt is really good......kimchi juice and GY.... nice.....
My feeling is that poultry is worth trying to get to work, it's a very clean protein and takes flavor really well. I try and balance poultry and beef and balance fish and pork.
I use a "lot" of ground chicken..... so good, the thigh and leg meat. I can do just about anything with it. I buy it at a place that does there own grinds and they are always in just under a pound per package and it freezes well, I have no less than 6 packs in the freezer at all times. Add a little ground fennel and granulated garlic, onion flakes, sal and pepper...... sausage tasting !
I also have some higher level techniques for you to try.....I'm in some personal "clinical trials" some may help you with the poultry and some my help you with your cycling.... Not ready for prime time release...... pm me your e-mail address and I'll fill you in.....see if it can work for you.....
