This Thanksgiving is the Eve of the rest of my life!

Today I am thankful for so very many things! I have an incredible family that is more supportive than I ever realized. I have a son who is the light of my life. I have wonderful friends who have been amazing to me - especially in this new journey. 

I am thankful for the hunger and slight deprivation I feel today as I conclude this, the last day if my pre-op diet because it is the end of another step! 

I am thankful for my surgeon, dietician, nurse practitioners, residents, and nurses who will take me under their care tomorrow and through the weekend. 

I am thankful for this tool I will be receiving to help me finally learn to control the monster that is my hunger.

I am thankful for my life and my future!

Tomorrow is the big day! Wish me luck!
