Craving brussel sprouts (and I have always hated them!)

Ok, I get that our taste buds change after surgery.  But me and brussel sprouts have never, ever been friends. When I was a kid my mom would try to make me eat one, and I would literally puke it up- and I was not a fussy eater at all!  My sister had them at Thanksgiving, and for whatever wacko reason they sounded good so I ate some.  And that is all I wanted to eat that night.  I bought some yesterday, and just had them for dinner.  I swear, I must be low in some nutrient that brussel sprouts and chock full of or something, because this is so crazy out of character for me!  Oh, and who knew they were so incredibly filling!  No idea what the cals and carbs and such are on them, so off to look that up now.

I love brussel sprouts.  They are so great!  Roasted is the best IMO.  Enjoy!

The first time i ever tried Brussels sprouts, the clouds parted and the heavens played the most glorious music. They have to be fresh though. I find the frozen ones get soggy. I love sprouts roasted, sauteed, boiled. They are great if you slice them fine too. Olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper. ..

Yep, need to work on figuring out how to cook them.  I bought a back from Trader Joe's that was already sliced and seasoned, but they were not as good as my sister's version.  Time to look up some recipes.  My youngest daughter ate all of them though dammit!!  Lol, we are now having brussel sprout wars here.  So very strange for my house!
