Xmas Shopping & Parking Madness!!!
Just came in for a break from Xmas shopping (not going good...... 3 things for me and 1 present......I still have the fattie mentality,,,,,if it fits..... buy it.....)
Parking was a mess...... and scarce.......
Here is a pic of my park job with my full size in a compact spot.......
At 350lbs. there would be no way......
at 150lbs. not a problem.... room to spare......
***Full disclosure: This is a high mile work car...... I don't park the good ones like this....

Wow! That's close! I would be worried about getting in and out at my current weight, but I know it'll be no problem once I am at goal!
Had the same parking problem today - no spots. So I wheeled over to the farthest parking area in the lot, where there were plenty of spots, but a long walk back to the stores. No problem! I had a little epiphany - the main reason I used to absolutely HATE Xmas shopping in years past was my inability to walk distances. The foot and joint pain would cripple me before I even got into a store. These days, this is no longer an issue. Talk about a NSV!
Of course, crowds and lines still **** me off. Surgery didn't help that, haha!
Ha ha - i can identify. I'm still somewhat amazed at what small spots I can fit through - I used to have to plan things out... Now I just do what the "normies" do :)

I'm always at the back of the lot in my Expedition... Walking is a good thing but it's a drag when you are loaded down with packages. I'm impressed with you're parking prowess... you got in there straight. Happy Holidays my friend!

You must permanently change your lifestyle if you want your weight loss to be permanent. You can do it!
You brave man, I don't go anywhere near the stores until after January. I love shopping, but hate the crowds. I so want a new xs red cashmere sweater....I might just have to break down and go. :) Went out with Alan last night to a party hosted by the singer in his band, mostly music people, was way over dressed as usual. Nothing I am not used to by now. Alan is not complaining. :)
I still get amazed on how I can fit into my car now when it was impossible before.
But then again, I was with some girlfriends at a holiday lunch and she was about to park in a tight spot and told us all to get out of the car first in case we couldn't fit I felt like saying, "***** I can get out of your car"!
Love this NSV!!
