I'm on day 3 of my pre op liquid diet and I just want to chew! I went to the store and was about to pick up a Chico stick (candy)! Just that quick I forgot I was on this damn diet! Lol. I put it back of course. I'm now drinking my shake and coffee.

It's not chewing, but try a SF popsicle or some SF jello, IF it's on your plan from Doc. I also used crushed ice.

My nutritionist told me I could have 1 spear do a dill pickle a day when I was on my preop diet. Make sure with yours.  Congrats and good luck!

That's fun because when I had my pre op class last week, they said I could have a cucumber if I needed to.  I might just go get some and cut the skin off.

Crushed ice I after flavored with MIO (or not).  Crunch the ice between meals and into the evening.  Helps.
