My incisions are starting to heal and they itch like hell! What can I put on them to help with the itching?

The minute my doc took the bandages off, the itching was UNREAL...and I had big round raised patches around all my incisions...I had a reaction to the adhesive :(

He recommended either Benadryl cream or Hydrocortisone cream!  I had to put on a good amount and it did help. Good luck!

I used Cortizone 10Maximum Strength Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream. The itch completely went away in about a week.

I put Vitamin E on mine. It's kinda gooey, like the consistency of honey, but not sticky. That worked for me.

Make sure you do an allergy test somewhere other than the incision before using anything that's new to you!

I used Vitamin E and also some lotion on mine.  I was told to message my incisions a few times a day to keep them from forming lumps and to minimize the scar.  They are still pink in color, but the scar lines are almost invisible at 9 months out.
