Hi Nexxie,

I went through Red Deer with Dr. Gregg.  Best surgeon ever in my opinion!  The nurses, nutritionists and psychologist were all there along side me during the whole thing.  I never felt alone and had so much support.  It made all the difference in the world.

I wish you all the best with your surgery and recovery!

Thank you :)

Without God, my husband and my clinics team I might have a totally different outlook but I really had so much support it was incredible.  That makes it much easier to deal with.

Hahaha no problem...I'm a giver :p

I just keep telling myself it's like pregnancy...you eventually forget how difficult it was or you would never do it again.  Although....I did stop after one child so quite possibly I may never forget.  :D

What a great and timely reply.  I am glad you are on the mend.  Keep your positive attitude. Hopefully by the summer this will all be a memory.  One day at a time- one moment to the next.

Ty!  That's how I take it, today is a day to sit in the hospital and rehydrate. I have other things I'd rather be doing but if I don't take care of myself I couldn't be doing them anyway.

Thank you so much for sharing the gift of your personal story. You have so many positive and healthy insights to what happened to you, and I'm sure God allowed you to learn several lessons from your experience. I'm so glad you had a good support system who did not tell you "look, I told you so!"  I will pray for continued healing for you, and that you are a stronger woman for it all. I am looking forward to insurance green light for me, and surgery this summer.  Blessings!
