I started a thread earlier about making fish since I had never cooked it before. I got a lot of great, helpful tips and decided I was ready to embark upon a journey. I trekked to the butcher shop and bought two meaty swordfish steaks and a few other ingredients. I got home and was a bit terrified, I'll admit. I've hated seafood for years. I've tried all different kinds of fish, shellfish.....blech! I didn't even like touching it, but I pushed on. My guy was very eager to try it since he loves seafood.

Well, it came out good! I actually liked it! I made pan-roasted swordfish steaks with garlic lemon sauce. I measured out 1oz and topped it with some of the sauce. It sat pretty well, too.

I was so proud of myself, I took a picture. I've never uploaded to a thread, so hopefully it works. The picture is of my guy's plate, not mine LOL.
