woo hoo...my new tummy likes lobster!

We went out last night, after several days of really struggling with eating, and split a sirloin and lobster tail meal.  I was nervous as I've been having a lot of issues lately.  I passed on the bread, of course, and passed on the salad.  When the meal arrived, I took the lobster meat and portioned it out.  I then took a small strip of steak, ended up being 4 tiny pieces of steak.  The lobster went down great and stayed down.  The steak went down nicely too.

I love finding new foods that my tummy can handle!

BTW: Lobster tails are both surprizingly cheap, easy to make at home, and you get a nice protein punch from them.

In the earlier days I used them some for just those reasons.

LOL, yes.  They usually run $5 or $6 for your basic lobster tail.  They won't be super large but 2 of them fills a pouch nicely.

Is cheaper than a typical fast food value meal (which I was doing 2-3x a day before surgery).
