I think I lost like 80 pounds before I bought new bras.  I think I should have gone sooner.  Maybe try to invest in 1 decent bra as you keep getting smaller if you can!

I have a feeling that I might wait that long too, just because I feel like my bras were probably ill-fitting on the too small size pre-surgery.  :/

I am thinking that I'll buy one bra at a time as I get smaller ones, that's a good idea for sure!

True... you are in the rapid losing stage right now.  Pretty awesome, huh?

MickeyMantle might be right about VS.  Most of their bras are for either women with small boobs or nice firm implants.  That said, I like their perfect coverage one which is full coverage.  I cannot do demi, push up or all that other stuff.  Nope, not for me!!!  The one I do wear has good coverage and doesnt ride up the back.  If it wasn't for this style, I wouldnt be wearing VS.  But I always wanted to shop there, it makes me feel pretty is all.

ok forget about victories secret, the secret is there for cute little girls with perfect boob, and most of there sales people do not know how to fit us

you need to go to a foundation store that fits women of all sizes and problems every day

over 90% of women wear the wrong size and the wrong style for there shape

most women start wear the same style bra since they where in high school, victories secret knows this that is why they advertize for teens and pre teens

your body changes as you grow older and you need to change your bra

if your boobs don't look great you need a different bra , I proper fitting right style bra will make you look your best whether you have tiny boobs or giant ones even the tube socks most of us have after losing a ton of weight

ps good bras are not cheap forget about k mart, and vs is not for most of us

a good good bra will cost $30-50 ,it is better to buy 1 good one than a few cheap ill-fitting ones

Find a bra shop (not VS) and get fitted.  Nordstrom has decent fitters and carries a few sizes up in the 44s and over DDD.  I have been going to a local bra boutique that specializes in cup sizes up to M.  They always have something for me that fits well and the lady advised me to get re-fitted every 20 pounds or so.  I have lost 40 so far and I can totally tell that my band is getting loose and I am not filling my cups anymore...take a side view picture...if your boobs look sad - time to bra shop!

Here's some better brands for large cup sizes - and they aren't granny bra's either:  Goddess, Elomi, Anita

Getting a proper fit is the best step to wearing the right size bra. Over the past year I needed to buy a new size about every two months because my band size was changing. I was told every 20 pounds lost is a good time to get re-measured. I went from a 44 band size to a 34. My cup size didn't change, unfortunately. That's a whole other issue for a hopeful upcoming surgery.

Good luck!!

Melissa
