Good News and Possible Bad News!
So I went to see my surgeon to day because I've been having stomach pains lately. So the good news is I've lost 38% body fat in three months and he said I'm doing very well! Bad news is my gallbladder may be going bad! I have an ultrasound in the morning. I really hope not!
Wow, what is your body fat now?!
Good luck with the ultrasound.

If I lost 38% body fat, I'd be at 14%, which is super unhealthy!
Oh, wait, could he have meant BMI?
--- No, I'm reading this wrong. I get it now. He meant that you lost 38% of your excess weight. Haha. That makes infinitely more sense. Sorry :P
Seriously, I apologize. I interpreted your post COMPLETELY wrong!

Hey there, Dont freak..it happens often. When i lost my initial weight after baby #2..it went. THe surgery is easy peasy. Much easier than the VSG. I was in and out in 3 hours total. You are sore a little bit, and can't lift anything over like 15 pounds for 2 weeks, but that's it. You dont even notice it. And, you will be much better. I dealt with that not knowing what the pain was for about 3 months before I went to the E-room. I know this sounds stupid - - but it will actually help you stay on track with the VSG. You can't have anything really greasy or fatty right now or afterwards...it will go right through you LOL. It kind of forces you (even though you are not doing that now) to eat clean. Good luck and I hope it goes well!
I am so sorry to hear that :( Another procedure def sucks, but at least it will be resolved once complete. When I went for my 1st week follow up, I asked if I could take the medication to prevent that. She said if I did not have issues prior, I should be fine. Did you have any gallbladder issues prior to VSG?
