Hunger-eat or ignore?
I hate to say this, but I never was on a clear liquid date past the first 24 hrs after surgery. I was on yogurt, protein shakes, etc by day 2. I can tell you that hunger did decrease quite a bit when I moved to full food at 4 weeks. Dense protein does fill up more and last longer.

They considered yogurt and pudding as part of full liquids and that was the first 2 weeks for me. So, yes, doc approved.

My nutritionist used to work in the mayo clinic and before the group now-she said neither one had more than a day of clears. It would be nice if one standard was used by everyone. With 3 weeks of clears, how do you get protein?

Have you visited the nutritionist recently? What is your program guidelines for this point? If your program guidelines are 600 calories then a call to the nutritionist is in order. Eating a slice of deli turkey sounds like a great idea and sure beats a donut. The nutritionist might tell you to do the same thing but they may also have another suggestion.
I haven't seen her. My program calls for just eating 60-80g protein, no more than 1 cup of food at a time, and eating just three times a day for 600-800 cal. I follow more what I see on here with a couple of high protein, small, healthy snacks. I think I am afraid to move closer to 800 cal since I am in an 8 day stall and so early still.

Well, what you've done so far isn't working so time for something different. When you're hungry outside your normal meals eat a slice or even half a slice of deli turkey or ham or whatever it is you find appealing. If a half a slice isn't helping then eat a whole slice. I wouldn't be surprised to see you drop a bunch of weight once you start increasing your calories. Or you could try drinking a few ounces of a protein shake.
Thanks! I will try those tips! My exercise has increased pretty rapidly in the past 10 days, so I likely need some more fuel.
