Frisco-Lunch Crab Cake at Plant Organic
Posting this because the questions come up occasionally...... What do you eat?, What to order at a restaurant?
After being on the road the last week, I took my god daughter on my 12mile loop on bicycles and lunch. (this is a hidden NSV also cause it would have never happened pre-op)
She is vegetarian and I knew of a place that is "mixed" on the waterfront called "Plant Organic"
Crab Cake appetizer for me. Not low in calorie, but not bad for me in maintenance.

OH MY GO****hat looks amazing! Ironically, I was in Kroger this afternoon and the seafood chef asked me if I'd like to sample the freshly made crab cakes. Unfortunately, I had to decline because I'm still on liquids- but I wanted it so bad! I just have to remind myself that I won't be on liquids forever, and when I'm not, I will sample and move on.
I hope you enjoyed! Sounds like a great afternoon!
It is much harder to do this as a vegetarian because the carbs are naturally going to be higher and you can't rely on the pyloric valve as much.
That said, many have done it successfully. It becomes much more about calorie counting.
I'm in recipe development on some vegetarian dishes for Cafe Frisco.
Here is another thing we ordered.... ****ake mushroom and tofu spring roll. I see something similar for a future Cafe Frisco posting.
